At Foxtrot Herb Farm, we're passionate about cultivating more than just plants - we're dedicated to nurturing a sense of community, social justice, and environmental responsibility. As a six-acre certified organic farm in Ashfield, MA, we specialize in growing vibrant, high-quality herbs and specialty produce that not only tantalize the taste buds but also promote resilience and wellness.
Our Services
Our Healing Foods CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) program makes climate-resilient, high-nutrient foods available to Western Mass and Southern Vermont. We're committed to providing fresh, organic produce that's not only good for you but also for the planet. Our PYO (Pick-Your-Own) program gets people on the farm, allowing them to harvest their own herbs and connect with the natural world. Additionally, we sell bulk fresh and dried organic herbs and specialty produce to apothecaries, restaurants, and makers who share our passion for quality and sustainability.
Our Approach
We approach the land we grow on with a spirit of reciprocity and respect. Our farming practices are designed to be ecologically beneficial, human-scale, and connected to the natural world. We're obsessed with finding innovative solutions to the challenges of climate change, fossil fuels, and social inequality. Our intention is to nurture the seeds of social and environmental justice, radical kindness, and magic in everything we grow.
Our Commitment
As white European-descended people living on Turtle Island, we recognize the importance of supporting reparations and social justice. That's why we provide a 15% BIPOC Reparations "Discount" for folks who are Black, Indigenous, and People of Color. We also offer a 5% Farmer2Farmer Discount for other small-scale farmers and run a by-donation Herbs for Activists program to provide plants to people on the front lines of social and environmental justice. Our sliding scale pricing is available to non-profits and individuals, ensuring that everyone has access to our high-quality, organic produce.
