Our story began in 1974, when Dan Andersen founded The Andersen Corporation in his basement. After gaining valuable experience as an Estimator and Project Manager in NYC and NJ, Dan decided to venture into business on his own. Over the years, he managed the company through a phenomenal growth phase, earning the respect of the entire industry before selling it in 1986.

In 1986, Dan started Andersen Interior Contracting, a company with a narrower focus that allowed for more personalized management and a deeper understanding of customer needs. Shortly after, in 1989, he founded Corporate Woodworking, a separate entity dedicated to high-end architectural woodworking. These two companies, together known as The Andersen Companies, represent the culmination of Dan Andersen's four decades of experience in the commercial construction industry.

Dan's approach to customer service has always been centered around understanding customer needs and doing his best to meet those needs. This has naturally led to the development of strong relationships with our customers, and our goal is to become a trusted partner for each of them. For ceilings, we install all types of drywall and acoustical ceilings, with decades of experience on projects ranging from small to large and simple to complex. Our high-end architectural woodwork includes cabinetry, countertops, paneling, doors, frames, and sidelights.
