Gallery 302, a nonprofit 501(3)c organization, has been promoting the arts and local artists in Bridgton, Maine since 2003. Situated in the heart of the historic downtown, our gallery is more than just a venue for artists to exhibit and sell their original works. We are a community of artists, art enthusiasts, and supporters dedicated to fostering artistic growth and appreciation in the region.

Our gallery is operated by a passionate group of 43 member-artists, each contributing to the diverse range of artwork on display. The collection includes paintings, pottery, photography, fabric art, wood sculpture, jewelry, millinery, and much more. We take pride in showcasing the unique talents of our members and providing a platform for emerging artists to gain visibility and recognition.

Promoting the Arts and Supporting Local Artists

At Gallery 302, we believe that art should be accessible to all. In addition to our regular gallery hours, we host monthly artist receptions and shows, as well as the annual Art In The Park event on the 3rd Saturday in July. These events provide opportunities for the community to engage with artists, learn about their creative processes, and enjoy a variety of artistic expressions.

Furthering our commitment to the local arts community, Gallery 302 awards annual scholarships to deserving students pursuing a career in the arts. This initiative aims to support the next generation of artists and contribute to the ongoing vitality of the arts in Bridgton and beyond.

The Burr Chase Center for the Arts: Cultivating Creativity in All Ages

Named in honor of the late John Burleigh "Burr" Chase, a beloved artist and longtime Gallery 302 member, the Burr Chase Center for the Arts is an integral part of our mission. Located within the gallery, the Chase Center offers monthly classes and workshops for both adults and children. These programs encourage artists of all ages to explore their creativity, hone their skills, and connect with others who share a passion for the arts.

• January - March: Thursday - Sunday, 11 AM - 3 PM
• February 18-24: Every Day, 10 AM - 5 PM
• April - June: Wednesday - Sunday, 10 AM - 5 PM
• July - August: Wednesday - Sunday, 10 AM - 5 PM
• Plus Extended Holiday Hours: December 15-23, 10 AM - 5 PM & December 24, 10 AM - 2 PM
• Closed Easter Sunday and Christmas Day
