Welcome to Doxa Dance Studio, a premier dance studio located in Gainesville, Florida. Founded in 2004, our studio offers high-quality instruction in a positive and encouraging environment. Our mission is to provide excellent dance training while teaching a desire to worship Christ with the dance. We believe in fostering an atmosphere of encouragement and cooperation among students, rather than competition and comparison.

Our Services
We offer a wide range of dance classes, including ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, modern, and hip-hop. Our classes are designed to cater to students of all levels, from beginner to advanced. Our instructors are highly trained and experienced in their respective genres, and are committed to providing personalized attention and guidance to each student.
Class Offerings
Our ballet classes focus on proper technique, injury prevention, and musicality. Our pointe classes emphasize proper technique and strength development, with an emphasis on injury prevention. Our tap classes focus on fundamental tap steps, wings, cramp rolls, and pull backs. Our jazz classes combine elements of ballet, modern, and African dance styles, while our modern classes focus on expressive movement and contemporary technique. Our hip-hop classes are high-energy and fun, emphasizing rhythm and coordination.
Facilities
Our studio is conveniently located on NW 60th Street behind Hobby Lobby. Our facility features three large interior studios, a spacious foyer, and a transition area for students to stretch and prepare for each class. Our studios are equipped with wall-to-wall mirrors, hand-crafted wooden barres, and sprung Marley flooring.

We have a number of policies in place to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all students. These include dance attire requirements, studio etiquette, tuition and payment policies, attendance and make-up class policies, and recital information.

One Negative Experience
One parent had a negative experience due to the studio's policy of not allowing strollers in the rooms, which caused inconvenience and discomfort. Despite this, the parent acknowledges that the studio's policies are in place for a reason, and they were able to find a solution that allowed them to participate in the parents-in session.
