Douglas Pleus, Certified Public Accountant, leads our firm with a wealth of experience gained from both public accounting and the private industry. His journey began at a prestigious "Big Eight" accounting firm in Kansas City, Missouri, where he honed his skills working with a diverse clientele. Subsequently, Doug joined an international commercial refrigeration company in St. Louis, gaining invaluable insights into income and sales/use taxes, management, marketing, and financial reporting. His expertise blossomed further during his tenure at a Top 10 national accounting firm, where he served as the Tax Practice Leader and Vice President, collaborating with other seasoned professionals and guiding a wide array of small to medium-sized businesses across various sectors, including healthcare, manufacturing, distribution, real estate, technology, and service industries. Doug's commitment to his clients extends beyond the realm of business, as he has also served high-net-worth individuals with complex financial needs.
