Fairfield Golf & Country Club

The Fairfield Golf & Country Club has recently surpassed its 131st anniversary, staying true to the vision of its founding members who cherished the game of golf and the camaraderie that came with it. Established in 1896 as the Kahgahgee Golf Club, our esteemed institution has since been a cornerstone of the community, providing a rich history, a family-oriented pool, exquisite dining, and social activities for our members. Our Heritage

Article II of our original 1896 hand-written constitution encapsulates the spirit of our club, stating, "The chief object in life of each member of this club shall be to beat the record; to engender envious misery in others and to discuss the exploits and wonders of the game with any benighted mortal who at the moment is available." This sentiment reflects the dedication, passion, and friendly competition that has defined our club for over a century.

Dining Experience

Our club offers a sophisticated dining experience, serving delectable meals in our fine dining room and more casual fare in our 19th Hole dining area. Our menu features a diverse selection of dishes, from classic American favorites to international cuisine, all prepared with the freshest ingredients. Come enjoy a meal while taking in the breathtaking views of our golf course.

Dining Hours:

• Lunch: Tuesday - Friday / 11:30am - 1:30pm / 5pm - 9pm (lunch open to public)
• Dinner: Saturday / 5:00 - 9:00pm

Flexible dining seating is available anytime in the great hall and fireside lounge upon request and subject to availability. Our fine dining room is available for larger parties and events; please call ahead to schedule.

Social Activities & Banquet Facilities

Our club offers a variety of social activities and events for members, from holiday celebrations and themed nights to live music and dance parties. Our spacious banquet facilities are also available for private events, such as weddings, anniversaries, and corporate functions.

Family Oriented Pool

Our pool area is perfect for families, offering a welcoming atmosphere and a range of amenities, including a swimming pool, a wading pool, and a spacious sundeck. Lounge chairs, tables, and umbrellas are available for members to use, and our pool bar offers refreshing beverages and snacks for your enjoyment.

Golf Course

Our club boasts a beautiful and challenging 18-hole golf course, meticulously maintained and designed to test the skills of golfers at every level. Golfers of all ages and abilities are welcome to enjoy the course, and our club offers a variety of membership options and golf events throughout the year.

Policies

All golfers must register in the 19th Hole before starting a round. Guests must be accompanied by the member when playing, and the guest is subject to the same limitations of play as outlined below. Social members and Non-members living within 30 miles of Fairfield are restricted to two rounds of golf per calendar year with a golfing member. They may not play several times as the guest of several members. Club sanctioned events such as the City Tournament, Blast Off, Inter-club tournaments, Member/Guest, company outings, school outings, and tournaments do not count as rounds played. The Golf Committee or the Board Executive Committee must approve group golf outings of more than 12 golfers. Between May 15th and September 15th, Tuesday is Ladies' Day and Thursday is Men's Day. The course is not closed but members of the opposite sex are encouraged to play on alternate days.
