Kids Gym

Our Beginnings

Kids Gym emerged in 1985 as a small, local gymnastics center in a 2,500-square-foot space. Guided by a passion for fostering young athletes and fostering a love for the sport, we rapidly expanded and moved to our current, state-of-the-art facility in Portage, Michigan, in 1999. Over the years, we've continued to refine our programs and expand our offerings, currently serving over 900 students with a team of dedicated and passionate coaches and instructors.

Our instructors are highly trained and experienced professionals who provide safe, positive, and individualized instruction to each student. We prioritize fostering a love for the sport by creating a fun and encouraging environment where children can learn and develop their skills.

Our Programs

We offer a diverse range of programs to cater to different age groups and interests. Our offerings include:

• Recreational Gymnastics: Fun and engaging classes for all ages and skill levels.
• TumbleKids: Specialised classes designed to introduce young children to gymnastics in a safe and engaging way.
• KGI Team: Competitive teams offering pathways for athletes to develop their skills and compete at regional and national levels.

Our Facilities

Our spacious and modern facility boasts two fully-equipped gyms, ensuring that we can provide a safe and enjoyable environment for all our students. The "big" gym features advanced equipment like spring floors, in-ground trampolines, and a variety of bars, beams, and floor exercise areas. The "little" gym is a dedicated space for younger children, equipped with age-appropriate equipment and activities.
