At Dr. Michael V. Stefanovich's Wellness Center, we are dedicated to providing comprehensive mental health services that cater to each individual's unique needs and aspirations. Our approach is eclectic and holistic, with a strong focus on anxiety and depressive disorders. We understand that each person has an innate capacity for growth, change, and improvement in the quality of their life.

Our Wellness Center is led by Dr. Michael V. Stefanovich, a Board Certified Clinical Psychiatrist with over 13 years of experience serving the Bergen County community. Dr. Stefanovich completed his residency at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York and has a background in research, having conducted a doctoral thesis in applied molecular biology and postdoctoral research at the Psychiatric Institute of New York and Mount Sinai Hospital in genetics.

Dr. Stefanovich's expertise lies in General Psychiatry, treating young adults through seniors utilizing psychodynamic and cognitive behavioral therapeutic approaches in conjunction with psychopharmacology as needed. He specializes in conditions such as Adjustment Disorder, Anxiety Disorders-Panic disorder, and Depression disorder. Additionally, he provides instruction on Integrative Nutrition and Meditation.

Dr. Stefanovich is a member of the American Psychiatric Association (APA), American Medical Association (AMA), and New Jersey Psychiatric Association (NJPA). His other interests include art, jazz, and spirituality.

Services Offered

At Dr. Michael V. Stefanovich's Wellness Center, we offer a variety of services designed to promote mental health and well-being. These include:

• Psychopharmacology-Medication Treatment: Dr. Stefanovich will work with you to determine the most appropriate medication treatment plan for your specific needs.

• Psychotherapy-Talk Therapy: Our psychotherapy services aim to help you understand and manage your feelings, thoughts, and behaviors through talk therapy.

• Instruction in Meditation: Dr. Stefanovich can guide you on meditation techniques to help you manage stress, improve focus, and enhance your overall mental health.

• Behavioral Telehealth Services: We offer Telehealth or Telepsychiatry for outpatient treatment, allowing you to receive treatment and therapy from the safety of your home using a mobile device, tablet, or computer.

Our Billing Policies

Dr. Stefanovich is currently accepting new patients and works with most insurances as an out-of-network New Jersey licensed provider. If your medical insurance reimburses for out-of-network expenses, our Billing Department will handle all insurance billing for you, from checking out-of-network benefits to following up on submitted claims. Payments can be made by check, credit card, or cash at the time of service unless other arrangements are made.

Our Location

Our office is conveniently located at 100 Union Ave Suite 210 in Cresskill, New Jersey. We have a large parking lot behind the building available any time of the day.
