Rainbow Skateland

Rainbow Skateland is a family-owned and operated skating and entertainment center that has been providing children and families across Western New York with skating and party facilities for over 60 years. Established in 1949 by Herbert and Ella Bale with Irish Sweepstakes winnings, the business is now run by their grandson, Maurice Cooper, along with his wife and son.

As a popular recreation spot in Lockport, NY, Rainbow Skateland has been the go-to destination for families and skaters of all ages and abilities. Over the years, the rink has established a competitive club for figure skating and speed skating, producing many national and world medals. Today, the rink continues to offer beginner skating classes and provides a welcoming environment for skaters of all levels.

At Rainbow Skateland, we offer a variety of services and attractions to make your visit enjoyable and memorable. Our skating rink provides a complete aerobic workout that involves all the body's muscles, especially the heart. Roller skating is equivalent to jogging in terms of health benefits, such as caloric consumption, body fat reduction, and leg strength development. It is recommended by the American Heart Association as a fitness sport.

Our skating rink offers rental skates in toddler size 6 up to adult size 14, making it a perfect activity for the whole family. We encourage our visitors to make healthy choices like roller skating and blading. Attractions

Apart from our skating rink, we have a variety of attractions that cater to all age groups and abilities. Our Game Zone has video games, air hockey, foosball, and redemption games that are fun for all. Our Bounce Zone, currently unavailable, had bouncers, mazes, and obstacles that provided endless fun for our younger visitors.

We also have an Aggressive Skate Park for those who want to take their skating skills to the next level. Our skate park offers a safe and challenging environment for skaters to practice their tricks and stunts.

Services

At Rainbow Skateland, we specialize in birthday parties and group parties for fun or fundraising. We offer rolling fun for whole schools, classes, clubs, sports teams, PTA groups, scout groups, church groups, corporate gatherings, family reunions, and more.

We provide supervised program activities, music of your choice, and a variety of food options to make your party unforgettable. Our party packages are affordable and customizable to suit your needs and budget.

We also offer skating and blading sessions, as well as beginner skating classes for those who want to learn how to skate. Our pro shop offers skates, accessories, and repairs to ensure that you have the best skating experience possible.
