Northland Custom Ironworks is a small, owner-operated full-service welding, fabrication, and quality control company located an hour north of the Twin Cities in Minnesota. With over 30 years of experience in the industry, we are fully insured and proudly serve the entire Midwest. Our mission is to provide faster service, higher quality products, and an overall better experience to our customers than what is typically offered in the industry.

Our company has a diverse skill set that allows us to offer a wide range of services. Welding & Fabrication Services

At Northland Custom Ironworks, we offer professional welding and fabrication services for Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel, Aluminum, and more. Our team of highly trained welders is available for mobile welding 24/7 and can handle projects of all sizes and specifications. We take pride in producing durable and detailed fabrication projects that meet and exceed our customers' expectations.

Our welding services include a wide variety of welding processes, such as Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW), Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW), Flux-Cored Arc Welding (FCAW), and Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW). We work closely with our customers to ensure that their projects are completed to their satisfaction and delivered on time.

CNC Plasma Cutting Services

With our state-of-the-art Star Lab CNC plasma cutter, we can produce prototypes, one-off custom work, multiple piece production runs, and ongoing fabrications of all kinds. Powered by an 85-amp Hypertherm plasma source, our CNC plasma cutter can quickly and accurately cut through various materials with precision and efficiency. This technology allows us to deliver high-quality finished projects while keeping costs to a minimum.

Sandblasting & Painting Services

At Northland Custom Ironworks, we provide sandblasting and painting services done by industry professionals. We use a sandblaster to remove rust and paint, allowing us to make sure we have a solid base to recoat and repaint, extending the life of the product. Our painting services include various types of coatings that can protect your product from harsh weather conditions, chemicals, and other hazards.

Inspection Services

We provide reliable, cost-effective, and timely on-site and in-shop qualification testing for a wide range of welding techniques. With certifications in PT and MT, our Certified Welding Inspector can provide pre-inspection, intermediate inspection, and final inspection for improved accuracy and long-term stability of your project.
