Our Expertise

Our team is led by Dr. Paula Newsome, North Carolina's first African American female optometrist and a Fellow in the American Academy of Optometry. Dr. Newsome brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our practice, specializing in glaucoma, ocular emergencies, and comprehensive care for diabetic patients. We are proud to offer a full range of eye care services, including:
