Our Team

NERC's dedicated team of professionals is composed of experts in waste management, sustainability, and policy. Our team members have extensive experience in industries such as recycling, energy, and environmental sustainability.

• Megan Fontes, Executive Director: Megan has nearly a decade of experience in corporate relations and has held leadership positions in organizations focused on science education and sustainability.
• Sophie Leone, Development and Program Manager: Sophie is a recent graduate with a master's in public policy, specializing in environmental policy and sustainability.
• Mariane Medeiros, Senior Project Manager: Mariane has extensive experience in project management, policy analysis, and sustainability, with a Master's degree in Urban and Regional Planning.
