Vegetable Sales
We grow over 30 varieties of vegetables seasonally, from early potatoes to fall brassicas. Our crops include heirloom and hybrid varieties selected for flavor and resilience. Customers access fresh-picked produce daily at our farm stand or weekly at Portland Farmers' Market.
Fruit Harvesting
Our 1926 apple orchard now includes peaches, pears, plums, and tart cherries. Seasonal berries include raspberries and strawberries. We maintain traditional orchard practices while incorporating modern trellising systems for optimal fruit quality and accessibility.
Flower Cultivation
We cultivate annual and perennial flowers for bouquets and events. Our greenhouses produce bedding plants, while field-grown blooms supply seasonal arrangements. Custom wedding florals and bulk buckets for DIY projects are available June-October.
CSA Program
Our CSA program connects members with weekly shares of seasonal produce. Members invest upfront to support farm operations and receive fresh-picked vegetables, fruits, and flowers throughout the growing season. Options include full and half shares.
Pick-Your-Own Apples
Available Wednesdays through Sundays 9-4, our orchard welcomes families to harvest their own apples. We provide picking bags and guidance on selecting optimal varieties. This seasonal activity runs from late August through October, depending on harvest timing.

Are your farming practices organic?
We use many organic techniques but aren't certified organic. Our approach combines soil-building practices with conventional apple orchard management to balance sustainability and crop viability.
Can I bring my dog to the farm?
Service animals are welcome, but we ask that pets stay home due to agricultural safety requirements and limited shaded parking areas.
What vegetables grow best in Southern Maine?
Our 120-day growing season supports cool-weather crops like kale and spinach early, transitioning to tomatoes and peppers when soil warms. Success depends on frost protection and proper planting timing.
Do you sell maple syrup?
We stopped producing maple syrup in 2008 to focus on other crops. We recommend local alternatives like Harris Farm and Giles Family Farm for quality maple products.
Can I cut my own wedding flowers?
We don't offer pick-your-own flowers but provide bulk buckets of seasonal blooms June-October for DIY arrangements. Custom wedding designs are available through our florist services.
Why do you have multiple tractors?
Our 12 tractors support diverse operations including planting, harvesting, irrigation, and soil preparation. Specialized equipment allows simultaneous management of different crops across our multi-enterprise farm.
