Welcome to The Framer's Workshop, a unique family-owned custom framing design studio located in Berkeley, CA. Since 1977, we have had the privilege of framing tens of thousands of pictures, works of art, keepsakes, and collectibles, providing our customers, neighbors, and friends with a way to beautifully display and preserve the things that bring them joy. Our location on the first floor of the Channing Telegraph Parking Garage, facing Channing Way, is easily accessible with parking entrances on Durant Avenue and Channing Way. The first hour of parking is free, and our business hours are Monday-Saturday: 10am-6pm, Sunday: Noon-6pm.

We have decades of experience in framing and we train our staff to handle artwork using the preservation standards of the Professional Picture Framers Association.

We specialize in framing two-dimensional art or photography on paper, and we know how to properly handle drawings, prints, pastels, photos, and more. Since art mediums vary in age, fragility, and value, we use preservation framing techniques to aid in the longevity of your treasured artwork. We frame far more than art on paper! We specialize in framing 3D objects, textiles, sports jerseys and memorabilia, awards, documents, and collectibles. We also frame large, oversize items and stretch canvas.

Digital Services: Printing Services and Digital Restoration

At The Framer's Workshop, we offer digital services, including printing and digital restoration. Our state-of-the-art equipment and experienced staff can help you produce high-quality prints of your digital files. We also offer digital restoration services to help you restore old, damaged, or faded photos, documents, and other digital files.

To use our digital services, simply upload your digital file through our website. Our team of experts will review your file, provide you with a quote, and complete the work according to your specifications.
