Founded in 1989 by Leon Collins, a 32-year veteran of the South Carolina Highway Patrol, Auto-Safe is dedicated to equipping students with the best defensive driving techniques possible.
Our Story
Leon Collins' vision for driver safety in the Upstate of South Carolina began with his career in law enforcement and driver's licenses. After retiring from the South Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles, Leon continued to serve the community by starting Auto-Safe Driving School, Inc. With his extensive experience in traffic laws and driver's license administration, Leon was well-suited to create a driving school that would prioritize driver safety and education.
