At Youth & Family Services, we believe that every child deserves to be safe, valued, and cared for. Our organization was founded in 1973 by a group of concerned citizens who recognized the need to help disadvantaged youth in our community. Over the years, we have grown to become a thriving non-profit organization dedicated to supporting and empowering families and individuals in need.

Our mission is to Value, Support, and Care for Individuals and Families to Build a Stronger Community. We strive to provide a safe and nurturing environment for children and families, regardless of their circumstances. We believe that every individual has the right to access quality services and support, and we work tirelessly to ensure that our programs are accessible and inclusive.

Our Services

At Youth & Family Services, we offer a wide range of services designed to support and empower families and individuals in need. Our programs and services include:

• Emergency Youth Shelter: A safe and welcoming environment for young people who are fleeing homelessness or experiencing crisis.
• Thelma's House: A transitional living program that provides young people with the support and guidance they need to transition to independence.
• Young Adult Drug & Alcohol Services: A program that provides counseling and support for young adults struggling with addiction.
• School-Based Counseling: A service that provides counseling and support to students in need, right in their own schools.
• Youth Summer Program: A unique program that provides young people with the opportunity to participate in fun and engaging activities, building confidence and creating lasting memories.

Our Team

Our team of experienced and compassionate staff members are dedicated to delivering exceptional services and support. Our leadership team includes Hannah Fryer, our Executive Director, Josh Guinn, our Clinical Director, MacKenzy Johns, our Development Director, and Shannon Landwher, our Residential Director.
