Nestled in the heart of New Castle, Indiana, Walnut Ridge Campground offers a serene and welcoming retreat for those seeking a safe and secure getaway destination. For recreational camping enthusiasts, our facility is well-kept with clean, inviting, and well-maintained bath houses and large pull-through sites that can easily accommodate any size RV.

Our history dates back to 1992 when Gary and Bobette Hart of Pendleton, IN, purchased the property and renamed it Walnut Ridge Campground. Their vision was to create a place where family and friends could gather, camp, fellowship, and make lasting memories. Their two sons, Nathan Hart and Justin Hart, continue to develop and uphold this passion to ensure their parents' vision will be enjoyed for generations to come.

For almost three decades now, families from all over central Indiana have come and experienced this beautiful setting located in the heart of Henry County, Indiana. See why so many campers have made Walnut Ridge their family campground of choice.

Services and Activities

At Walnut Ridge Campground, we offer 160 concrete/stone RV sites complete with 30 amp and 50 amp electric hook-ups and water for overnight or extended seasonal stays. Our facilities are designed to provide a comfortable and enjoyable experience for all our guests.

We also offer a variety of activities and amenities, including a large pool, playground for kids, and Wi-Fi access throughout the facility. Additionally, we have clean and well-maintained bath houses and laundry facilities for your convenience.

Our seasonal sites are available for a 12-month duration from April 1st to March 31st. Payment in full for seasonal sites is due on April 1st of every year. Any seasonal payment received after April 1st will be charged a late fee of $50/$55 per day (depending on 30 or 50 amp service).

Guidelines and Policies

To ensure a safe and enjoyable stay for all our guests, we have established certain guidelines and policies. Check-out time is 11:00 am. All pets must be on a leash during their stay at Walnut Ridge. Due to high volume of traffic and for your child's safety, bicycles/skateboards, etc., are not permitted on the entrance and exit of Walnut Ridge Campground. All golf carts must be approved and registered with the campground office. One-time seasonal fee of $25; operators of all golf carts must have proof of a driver's permit and insurance. Fireworks are not permitted on premises. Drugs are not permitted on premises (Zero Tolerance). Quiet hours are from 11:00 pm to 7:30 am.
