Experience a Little Piece of Heaven in the Texas Hill Country

Shady Oaks Riverside RV Retreat, located in the beautiful Texas Hill Country, offers a serene and secluded environment for RV owners to park and enjoy their recreational vehicles. Since 1983, our family has been committed to providing a unique experience for RV enthusiasts, offering a secure and peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Our Mission

Our goal is to provide RV owners with an opportunity to get more use and enjoyment from their vehicles. Traditionally, most RVs sit in storage or parked next to their owners' homes for much of their lives. We offer a gated, secure environment for you to park your RV monthly, allowing you to enjoy it as much as you'd like. Imagine having a year-round lakeside retreat, where you can relax, unwind, and connect with nature.

Our Amenities

Shady Oaks Riverside RV Retreat is situated on 23 acres of picturesque land, with 1700 feet of water frontage on the Colorado River. Our park is surrounded by majestic live oak and pecan trees, wildflowers, cacti, and shrubs, providing a sanctuary for abundant wildlife. White-tail deer roam freely through the park, and birdwatchers will find a wide assortment of species to view. We are within ten minutes of three of the best fishing and water sports lakes in the Highland Lakes chain: Lake Buchanan, Inks Lake, and Lake LBJ.

Experience the Best of Texas Hill Country

Our retreat offers a unique blend of relaxation and adventure. Enjoy fishing, kayaking, or canoeing on the beautiful Colorado River, or explore the many attractions and activities that the Texas Hill Country has to offer.
