Our firm's founder, Don Hadley, has practiced law for over 40 years, serving as a "primary care" attorney for clients in business and estate planning. Throughout his career, Don has provided legal counsel in areas such as entrepreneurship, entity selection, business growth and management, employment matters, leasing, property acquisition, conflict resolution, business exit strategies, provision for the golden years, effecting family gifts and charitable goals, and after-life matters.

Don's education includes a Bachelor of Arts from George Washington University and a Juris Doctor from George Washington University School of Law. He has been admitted to various courts, including the Superior Court of the District of Columbia, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia, the U.S. Supreme Court, the Maryland Court of Appeals, the U.S. District Court of Maryland, and the U.S. Tax Court.

Don has also been actively involved in professional organizations, including the American, Maryland, Montgomery County, and District of Columbia Bar Associations, Estate Planning Council of Suburban Maryland, The Executive Committee (TEC), and the George Washington University Law Review. His extensive professional background has provided him with a wealth of experience and knowledge, allowing him to skillfully navigate the complexities of business and estate planning law.

Throughout his career, Don has held various service positions, including serving as a Commissioner for the Rockville Planning Commission (2010-present), Chair of the Rockville Planning Commission (2014, 2015), and Counsel for the Rainbow Place Shelter for Homeless Women (2015-present). Don has also been involved in multiple youth organizations, church service positions, and community associations.
