Dye Manufacturing has been a leading provider of precision machining services since 1919. Our company was founded by R.E. Dye with a commitment to producing high-quality, life-critical components for various industries including aerospace, helicopter, and fixed wing for military and commercial applications, as well as the oilfield sector. Over the years, we have built a reputation for excellence, specializing in complex CNC machining and intricate mechanical assemblies.

History

In the early years, we served the automotive and welding needs in Breckenridge. However, during World War II, our focus shifted to military production. In 1957, we incorporated and changed our name to R. E. Dye Manufacturing Corporation. Since then, we have continued to serve a variety of industries, including Bell Helicopter, Lockheed, General Dynamics, LTV, Raytheon, and several oilfield companies. The company remains family-owned and operated, with Jimmy Dye, R.E.'s nephew, purchasing the company in 1993. Today, his son Coby serves as President and minority stockholder.

We are skilled in translating customer needs, including 3D Models, into manufacturing and inspection processes. Our capabilities also include in-house processes such as powder coating, chemical film processing, passivation, and thermal fitting to meet the most demanding needs of our customers. Inspectors certified in fluorescent penetrant and magnetic particle inspection ensure precise quality planning and inspection. Certified inspection equipment and climate-controlled facilities further enhance our capabilities in precision-controlled manufacturing.

Our experienced staff is proficient in CAD and CAM software, enabling us to efficiently plan and execute complex manufacturing projects.
