At Wright Pet Care, we understand that pets are more than just animals; they are members of your family. That's why we offer personalized care for your pets while you're away. Our team of experienced and compassionate pet sitters, led by owner and pet sitter Stephanie Barnes, are dedicated to providing your pets with the love, attention, and care they deserve.

Stephanie earned her Associate's Degree in Zoo Animal Technology at Pensacola Junior College and her Bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Science with a focus on Zoo Science. With a background in working at the Wildlife Sanctuary of NWFL and Emerald Coast Wildlife Refuge, as well as experience with elephants and a stint as a Director of a sanctuary in Tallahassee, Stephanie is well-versed in the needs of all kinds of animals. She began her pet sitting career throughout her work with both native and exotic wildlife and has been involved in the pet sitting field since 2014. She took over as the owner of Wright Pet Care in 2017.

Stephanie is joined by a team of pet sitters who share her passion for animals and commitment to their well-being. Patti Baker, who has a background in Human Resources, joined the team in 2018 and brings her love for her own pets, Gus and Murphy, to her work. Nicole Bertalmio, who recently moved to Gulf Breeze, is an animal lover with a long history of caring for various pets. Jennifer Burke, a graduate of the University of West Florida with a degree in Zoo Science, has worked as a veterinary technician and shares her home with two adopted cats, a red-footed tortoise, and a yellow-plated lizard. Maria Palewicz, who moved to Gulf Breeze from Baltimore, Maryland, is a caring and professionally trained animal health and welfare advocate who has been with Wright Pet Care since 2017.

Pet Sitting

If you're going out of town and don't want to board your pets, we can look after your pets and home while you're away. Your pet can stay in the comfort of their own home and enjoy their regular routine! At your free meet & greet, we will discuss your pet's specific needs and develop a personalized care plan that includes feeding, walking, and playtime.

Daily Dog Walking

In need of a daily dog walker? We can leash walk around the neighborhood or let them sniff around your fenced yard. Our daily dog walking service is designed to provide your dog with the exercise and attention they need to stay happy and healthy.

Overnight Stay

If you're going to be away for an extended period, we can provide overnight stays in your home to give your pets the comfort and companionship they need. Our pet sitters will spend the night in your home, ensuring that your pets receive the care and attention they deserve.

At Wright Pet Care, we are fully Licensed, Bonded, and Insured, and we are available 365 days a year. We offer a free 30-minute meet & greet and key pick up, and we are involved in the pet community. We also have a Disaster Preparedness Plan for Hurricanes, giving you peace of mind while you're away.
