At Sun's Out Swim School, we pride ourselves on being Pinellas County's highest rated private swim school. As a locally owned and operated business, we exclusively offer private swim lessons to children of all ages and skill levels. Our unique curriculum focuses on water safety, fundamental swimming skills, and stroke development, ensuring that your child learns to swim safely and proficiently while having a ton of fun along the way.

Our Story

Opened in 2018, our goal is to make every child in Pinellas County a confident and able swimmer. What sets us apart is our specially designed swim curriculum and our team of experienced, passionate instructors who tailor lessons to fit each child's learning style and build a relationship with every swimmer. Our instructors have experience swimming competitively and working with children, and they are dedicated to helping your child learn to swim in a safe and supportive environment.

Our Curriculum

Our SwimSafe - SwimWell - SwimFast Curriculum is designed to take your child on a journey from water safety to stroke development and finally to increased speed and endurance. At our current location, we teach the SwimSafe and SwimWell portions of the curriculum, focusing on the skills that will keep your child safe in and around the water, as well as the fundamentals of swimming and the four competitive strokes.

Our Team

Our team is made up of experienced instructors who are passionate about teaching children to swim. Our owner and lead instructor, Brian, is an American Red Cross certified Lifeguard and USA Swimming certified coach with over ten years of experience teaching swim lessons. Our team also includes Ms. Chris, Janelle, and Ms. Barbara, who all play an integral role in making Sun's Out Swim School the best it can be. And let's not forget our furry friends, Pippin and Zeppelin, who are always happy to meet new swimmers!
