DanceVibe was founded in 2005 by studio owners and best friends Lauren Stephenson and Allyson Yost, who grew up dancing together and shared a vision of creating a unique dance experience. Children's Program
Our Children's Program for ages 3-9 combines fun and technical training through themed classes in ballet, jazz, hip hop, and creative movement. Small class sizes ensure personalized attention while developing coordination, memory skills, and classroom manners. The curriculum fosters confidence and love for dance through weekly adventures and performance opportunities including in-studio showcases and our annual End-of-Year Show.
VIBE Program
The VIBE Program offers advanced training for intermediate to pre-professional dancers aged 7+. Classes focus on elevating technique, artistry, and athleticism across multiple styles including ballet, jazz, tap, and contemporary. Acceptance requires audition or teacher recommendation, ensuring appropriate skill level placement. Participants gain access to master classes, national conventions, and performance opportunities that prepare them for competitive dance environments.
Summer Programs
Our Summer Programs include themed dance camps for ages 3-5 and intensive training for students entering 3rd grade+. Camps feature Disney princess adventures, tropical themes, and Taylor Swift fan experiences combining dance with creative play. The Summer Dance Intensive provides technical refinement for motivated dancers through specialized training in various styles, serving as mandatory preparation for VIBE program participants.
Competitive Company
DanceVibe's Competitive Company offers elite performance opportunities for grades 1-12. Divisions include Shooting Stars (1st-4th), Vibration (4th+), and Pre-Pro (6th+). Members attend multiple national competitions and conventions annually, developing technical excellence, choreographic artistry, and teamwork skills. The program has maintained top rankings in Central PA for over 15 years with numerous first-place awards and choreography accolades.
Pre-Pro Company
The Pre-Pro Company provides intensive training for serious dancers aged 12+. This rigorous program includes advanced technique classes, multiple competition pieces, and solo performance opportunities. Participants attend 2-3 national conventions yearly and must maintain strict attendance policies. The curriculum prepares dancers for collegiate or professional careers while emphasizing mentorship through assisting younger company members and serving as role models.

What age groups do you accept?
We offer programs for children starting at age 3 through pre-professional levels. Our Children's Program serves ages 3-9, VIBE Program for ages 7+, and competitive companies for grades 1-12.
Do you offer trial classes?
