Square Bistro

At Square Bistro, we are a neighborhood bistro that prides itself on serving fresh, creative, and unique cuisine in a quaint and casual setting. Our focus is on locally sourced ingredients whenever possible, and we're committed to supporting local farmers and farmers' markets to bring you the best flavors and ingredients.

Our executive chef and owner, Jaret Havanchak, is a self-proclaimed family man who is passionate about food and community. Growing up, Jaret learned the importance of family and community from his grandmother's garden and mother's kitchen. After studying at the Pennsylvania Culinary Institute, Jaret began his culinary career under the guidance of French-inspired chef Rick Boyer and later became the owner of seafood hotspot Lure Bistro in downtown Willoughby. In 2014, he opened Square Bistro in historic downtown Chardon, where he continues to serve up delicious dishes in a casual setting.

Our full-service bar features specialty cocktails, 12 handcrafted beers on tap, and a wide variety of wines to pair with our dishes. We also offer reservations, which are suggested to ensure a comfortable and timely dining experience.

Weekly Specials

Join us every week for special deals and promotions! Tuesday is "Wine Down Tuesday, " where you can enjoy 50% off select bottles of wine. On Wednesdays, we offer a 3-course meal for two for $60 as part of our Date Night special. Thursdays, enjoy our Half-Price Sushi Night, featuring all maki and futomaki rolls. On Fridays and Saturdays, try our Chef Specials, featuring carry-out and dine-in options.
