Our story began in the late 1990s when Jesus Rodriguez, our owner, realized there was a lack of authentic Mexican cuisine in the Ankeny area. With a passion for cooking and a dream to share his heritage with the community, Jesus brought his restaurant concept to life in March of 1998. Since then, we have been honored to receive the title of "Ankeny's Best Mexican Restaurant" by readers of The Des Moines Register for the past 18 years in a row.
