Our Story

Dan McGookey was born in Sandusky sixty-eight years ago and has been rooted in the community ever since. He graduated from Perkins High School in 1971, attended Notre Dame University, and later earned his law degree from the University of Toledo College of Law in 1979. Dan established his law practice in Sandusky and has been serving the community continuously since then.

Dan's wife, Bev, is also a lawyer and served as a Judge of Erie County Common Pleas Court, Probate Division, for over twenty-four years. They have three children, Lauren, Beth, and Michael, who have also followed in their parents' footsteps in various businesses and ventures.
