Our Mission

Haven Youth and Family Services is a premier behavioral health and youth development organization in the Chicago area. Since 1976, we have promoted mental health and community wellness by supporting individuals and families in their pursuit of their best selves. We provide a wide range of services with a focus on empowering youth and fostering resilience.

Our History

From humble beginnings as a youth outreach program, Haven has evolved into a comprehensive mental health and social service organization. Over the years, we have expanded our services to meet the diverse needs of our community, while maintaining our commitment to personalized and compassionate care.

Clinical Programs

• Individual Therapy: Discover deeper understanding and develop coping skills through individual counseling sessions.
• Family Counseling: Strengthen relationships, improve communication, and resolve conflicts through family-centered therapy.
• Crisis Counseling: Receive immediate support and guidance during times of crisis with our 24/7 crisis intervention services.

Community Programs

• Illinois Youth Investment Program: Offers support and mentorship to at-risk youth through educational, recreational, and skill-building activities.
• Outreach Programs: We provide daily outreach to area schools and communities, offering support, resources, and referrals.
• Warm House: This safe and welcoming space offers a variety of programs and activities for youth and families.
