Meet the Artist: Ted Green
I am Ted Green, the proud owner and potter of Goose Creek Pottery. With over 30 years of experience in the field, I have honed my skills in various techniques, including wheel throwing, hand building, and glazing. My passion for seeking out unique textures, patterns, and objects to make molds is what sets my work apart. I specialize in red stoneware and porcelain, both fired to temperatures of roughly 2200 degrees Fahrenheit. I take pride in my ability to balance construction techniques, patterns, and mold-formed work with my exceptional glazing skills, resulting in stunning pieces that reflect my love for the craft.

Meet Polka: The Official Studio Mutt
I am Polka, the official studio dog at Goose Creek Pottery. As the warm and friendly face that greets customers and friends when they come into the gallery, my daily activities include getting belly rubs, eating cookies, and taking afternoon naps. I am a 7-year-old yellow lab mix and enjoy making friends with all visitors, whether they are two-legged or four-legged!
