Our company was founded by Eamon Kavanagh, who served a four-year apprenticeship in Ireland before arriving in the United States in 1984. Eamon started his career in the U.S. as a waiter, but his employer soon recognized his painting skills and asked him to handle some painting jobs on the side. This marked the beginning of Kavanagh Painting, which initially operated as a one-man show. However, as the business grew, Eamon began hiring other skilled painters to join his team, including Joe McCarthy, who has been with the company since its early days.
