Our Mission

Amador Valley Scholarships, Inc. (AVSI) is a passionate community organization dedicated to supporting the educational aspirations of graduating seniors in the Pleasanton area. Since 1965, we have been proudly awarding scholarships to students who demonstrate potential, perseverance, and a commitment to their academic pursuits.

Our Humble Beginnings

Inspired by the vision of dedicated local citizens, AVSI emerged in 1965. Their unwavering belief in the power of education fueled their determination to raise scholarship funds for deserving students in the community. Over the years, our impact has expanded, with over 706 students receiving financial assistance to pursue their vocational, community college, or 4-year degree dreams.
