Since our establishment in 1980, we have grown to become one of the premier architectural woodwork firms in Southern California, with a reputation for quality, reliability, and customer service.

History

Spooner's Woodworks was founded in 1980 by Steve Spooner, who initially employed by a small cabinet shop for several years. Within the first two years, Steve's wife Val, his brother Tom, and Tom's wife Rosemari joined the small operation to form a partnership that continues to thrive almost three decades later. During the first few years, the company focused primarily on fine woodworking for the residential market. However, as more opportunities to compete in the commercial market emerged, Spooner's decided to move away from the residential market and focus entirely on commercial woodworking. Today, Spooner's maintains its family-business culture where treating people with respect and following the Golden Rule are the foundation of our operations.

Our Team

We operate in our state-of-the-art 60,000 square foot warehouse, with a talented team of project managers, engineers, installers, craftsman, and fabricators that keep us driving forward. Our team's collective experience, expertise, and dedication enable us to take on projects of any size and scope. We specialize in high-end millwork, production casework and everything in between, serving all commercial markets but focusing on tenant improvements, primary/secondary education, military, public works, medical, and hospitality.
