Burnt Orange Sound Studio, located in Sarasota, Florida, is a premier recording studio that offers a wide range of services to cater to the unique needs of our diverse clients. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality sound recordings for music production, ADR, voiceovers, audiobooks, and more. Our team has had the privilege of working with esteemed clients such as Brian Johnson, Slash, Disney, Spotify, NBC, FOX, AMC, Penguin Random House, Simon & Schuster, EA Sports, Ubisoft, Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, and many more.

Our state-of-the-art facility boasts of top-notch gear, including an SSL 948 console, custom Yamaha C7 courtesy of J. Elliot & Co., Neve preamps, ATC speakers, and a mix of vintage Neumann mics. Our freshly built studio is now open in Sarasota Fl, featuring both a Studio A & Studio B to suit the varying needs of our clients. Voiceover sessions can shine in Studio B, while full bands can take advantage of all the space Studio A has to offer.

Recording

At Burnt Orange Sound Studio, we offer recording services using the finest quality equipment in the industry. Our recording process involves capturing the sound of your performance using a combination of analog and digital technology to achieve a final recording that accurately represents your sound. Our expert engineers will work with you throughout the entire production process to ensure that your final recording is one that you are proud of, fans will be eager to buy and can be used to book gigs.

Mixing

Do you want to hear your tracks through thousands of dollars of sought-after analog gear? At Burnt Orange Sound Studio, we offer mixing services that will bring your recordings to life. Our experienced team will collaborate with you to realize your unique sound, resulting in a final recording that is loud, clear, and consistent. Whether you recorded your music with us or at another studio, we can work with you to create a final mix that exceeds your expectations.

Mastering

Once your recordings have been mixed, it's time to master them. At Burnt Orange Sound Studio, we offer in-house mastering for all projects recorded or mixed at our studio. We can also master recordings from another studio or an old demo that you've been sitting on for a while. Mastering involves preparing your final mix for distribution, ensuring that your music is loud, clear, and consistent across all platforms.

Studios

Both Studio A & Studio B are available for booking at Burnt Orange Sound Studio. Our expert build allows us to accommodate clients in both studios with no interference. Studio A features gear that rivals major studios found in Nashville, LA, or NYC, including our SSL 948 console, custom ATC speakers, Neve preamps, and a spacious live room with a J. Elliot & Co. custom Yamaha C7. Studio B was built specifically for voiceover sessions, featuring a custom-built booth for optimal sound quality.

Meet the Team

Matt DeSear, CEO/Engineer, started as an intern at Audio Images, Inc in 2011. He became the manager and eventually owner in 2012, changing the name to Burnt Orange Sound Studio. Matt has worked with esteemed clients such as Stephen King, Brian Johnson, Slash, Mike Clink, Disney, Spotify Studios, AMC, EA Sports (FIFA & NHL), NBC, Penguin Random House, WWE, CBS, Ringling Brothers, and many others. Matt has produced, recorded, and performed rock, folk music, jazz, r&b, hip hop, pop, classical, and electronic music.
