Originally built in 1892 as the First National Bank, this iconic building has been carefully restored to its former grandeur and is now home to Carlsbad's finest dining establishment and nine exquisite hotel suites. Experience Our Rich History

The Trinity building has a storied past, having once housed the first newspaper in Carlsbad and later becoming the historic headquarters of the Carlsbad Irrigation District. When the building was purchased by three partners in 2007, it was in a state of decay and disrepair. Many in the community doubted the possibility of its restoration, but through dedication and commitment, the old bank building has been fully renovated and transformed into a captivating destination. As you walk through our doors, you can't help but feel the weight of history and the sense of pride that comes from preserving the past while providing exceptional hospitality.

Each suite is equipped with free Wi-Fi access, flat-screen TVs, iPod docking stations, wine chillers, fine travel amenities, and our special Trinity robes. Our suites cater to various preferences and needs, including a handicap-accessible king bed suite with an extra-large two-headed glassed-in ceiling shower (Room 101), a queen bed suite with a lovingly restored original fireplace and a sunken jacuzzi tub (Room 102), and a king size bedroom with a double sink and glassed-in shower, perfect for up to 4 guests (Room 201). Room 203 offers a cozy and comfortable retreat with a king-size bed, while Room 202 features a queen-size bed and a serene atmosphere, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploration.
