Our Story

Our state-of-the-art 42-foot Evans commercial boat, originally built in 1999 and restored in 2014, is equipped with the latest electronics, safety features, and amenities to ensure a comfortable and productive fishing experience. Whether you're an expert angler or a beginner, Captain Ken and his team will guide you through the inshore waters of the Chesapeake Bay in search of a variety of species, including Striped Bass, Bluefish, Croaker, Black Drum, Flounder, White Perch, Crab, and Speckled Trout.

Our Services

At Sellfish Charters, we offer a range of fishing trips to suit your needs, including full-day, Sellfish-style, and half-day charters. Our trips are designed to cater to groups of up to 22 guests, making us an ideal choice for corporate events, family outings, and social gatherings. Our services include:

• A fully equipped fishing vessel with all necessary gear and baits

• A fishing license and all necessary permits
• Ice for your catch and a live well for bait
• Air-conditioning and a multimedia system for added comfort
• An enclosed toilet and showers for convenience
• Fish cleaning and bagging services (additional fee applies)

With over 20 years of experience running Chesapeake Bay fishing charters, Captain Ken Jeffries is a U.S. Coast Guard licensed Maryland charter boat captain, Vice President of Upper Bay Charter Captains Association, Member A.B.Y.C, President of Maryland Charter Boat Association, Certified Marine Surveyor through Virginia Marine Institute, and Advanced Open Water Scuba Diver. His extensive knowledge of the Chesapeake Bay and its waters, combined with his passion for fishing, make him the perfect guide for your fishing adventure.
