QUALITY ~ PERFORMANCE~INTEGRITY

Big Pines RV Park, located in Crescent, Oregon, is a premier RV park that offers top-notch camping experiences. As a U.S. veteran-owned and operated business since 2003, we take pride in providing exceptional services to our guests. Our park is situated in a stunning location, surrounded by majestic forests, crystal-blue lakes, and sunshine, making it the perfect destination for those seeking outdoor adventures.

History of Big Pines RV Park

The park began in 1947 as Jorstad's Modern Cabins Motel, offering 8 motel rooms with indoor plumbing for weary travelers along Highway 97. In the 1950s, the Koons' family changed the name to Big Pines Motel, and it has remained Big Pines ever since. We have come a long way since then, and we are committed to providing our guests with the best possible camping experience.

Location and Attractions

Big Pines RV Park is conveniently located on Highway 97, just north of the junction with Oregon Highway 58 and 45 minutes south of Bend. Our park is the perfect base camp for exploring the natural wonders of Central Oregon. We are close to Crater Lake National Park, Newberry Volcanic National Monument, and the Deschutes River, offering plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities such as fishing, boating, hiking, and mountain biking.

Facilities and Amenities

At Big Pines RV Park, we offer spacious sites that can accommodate RVs up to 100 feet. Our facilities include full hook-ups with up to 50 amps, free Cable TV, and free Wi-Fi access. We understand the importance of cell phone service, and we are proud to offer strong Verizon and AT&T signals, which means most Net10, StraightTalk, and TracPhones have great signals as well. Sprint and T-Mobile are unavailable, but we are constantly updating our information as it becomes available.

We are committed to providing our guests with the best possible experience, which is why we have joined the Ride Oregon Ride Bike Friendly Business program. We offer amenities that cyclists may need, such as secure bike storage, and we are officially recognized by Travel Oregon.

We have recently added 34 new sites, and after careful consideration, we have decided to disallow wood campfires at Big Pines RV Park. This decision was made to reduce the risk of wildfires, minimize the impact of smoke on air quality, and ensure the safety and comfort of all our guests. However, propane fire pits will still be allowed, conditions permitting.

Activities and Local Interests

Big Pines RV Park offers a variety of activities for our guests to enjoy. Our local area has plenty of room for outdoor play, and we are close to four natural lakes that offer fishing, water sports, bird watching, and scenic hikes. We are also close to the High Desert Museum just south of Bend, which is a great place to visit.

For those seeking adventure, we are close to the Deschutes National Forest, offering opportunities for mountain biking, hiking, and exploring. We are also close to the Gilchrist State Forest, which offers ATV and dirt bike trails for off-road enthusiasts.

Park Rules

At Big Pines RV Park, we have rules in place to ensure the safety and comfort of all our guests. We have a strict no wood campfire policy, and propane fire pits are allowed, conditions permitting. We have a quiet time policy from 10 pm to 7 am, and we ask our guests to be respectful of their neighbors. We also have a pet policy that requires pets to be on a leash at all times.

Electrical Vehicle Charging

Big Pines RV Park is proud to offer electrical vehicle charging stations for our guests. We understand the importance of reducing our carbon footprint and promoting sustainable practices, and we are committed to providing our guests with the best possible experience.

Conclusion

Big Pines RV Park is the perfect destination for those seeking outdoor adventures, and we are committed to providing our guests with the best possible camping experience. We offer spacious sites, exceptional facilities and amenities, and a variety of activities and local interests to explore. We are a bike-friendly business and are proud to be recognized by Travel Oregon. We look forward to welcoming you to Big Pines RV Park.
