Eastern Michigan Distributors Co. has a rich history that spans over 65 years. Founded in 1954, the company has undergone significant transformations since its inception. In 1979, Mike Lueck Sr. took a bold step by purchasing the company, leading it through a period of growth and recovery during the early 1980s recession. The business continued to flourish, with Michael Lueck Jr. joining in the late 1980s and later, his siblings Jake and Diana. Michael Jr. went on to pursue a successful law career, while Mark, Mike Sr.'s grandson, joined the company in 2006, marking the beginning of the third generation's involvement.

Today, Eastern Michigan Distributors Co. is a thriving business in Metro Detroit, offering a wide range of products and services including shingles, commercial roll roofing, construction lumber, vinyl siding, gutters, and ice melting products. The company's commitment to providing exceptional customer service has remained unwavering, with the addition of new locations and equipment to enhance delivery capabilities. This includes the introduction of crane lift trucks, enabling deliveries to structures up to 5 stories high.
