Conboy-Westchester Funeral Home has been a family-owned business since its establishment in 1885. Over the years, we have proudly served the Chicagoland area for four generations, offering a range of funeral services including traditional funerals, cremations, memorial services, burials, and gatherings. Our mission has remained unchanged, to serve our families with dignity, honor, honesty, and affordability.

Our business was originally founded in Chicago and later expanded to the Galewood/Oak Park area in 1968. In 1974, we moved to our current location in Westchester to accommodate the growing demand from families moving from Chicago to the Western Suburbs. Throughout our history, we have remained committed to providing personalized service to every family we serve, regardless of their faith or cultural background.

Today, the third and fourth generations of the Conboy family are actively involved in the business, ensuring that our legacy of excellence continues. Jean Conboy Hanson and Matthew P. Conboy, along with their father Peter R. Conboy, work together to maintain the high standards of service that have been the hallmark of Conboy-Westchester Funeral Home since its inception.

We have established strong relationships with local churches of various denominations, ensuring that we can accommodate families from all faiths.

Our Staff
