Cottonwood Golf Club is a premier public golf course located in the rolling hills of Rancho San Diego, just 20 minutes from downtown San Diego. Our championship 18-hole golf course, Ivanhoe, offers a challenging and enjoyable experience for golfers of all skill levels, from beginners to advanced players.

Our Golf Course

The Ivanhoe Course at Cottonwood Golf Club is a picturesque and golfer-friendly course, previously used by the PGA Tour. The course provides a relaxing atmosphere as you are surrounded by the rolling hills of Ranch San Diego, and offers a round of golf that is both enjoyable and challenging. The course is suitable for players of all ages and abilities, and its tranquil setting makes it the perfect place to spend a day on the links.

Rental Clubs

Golf clubs are required to play, and Cottonwood Golf Club has a limited number of rental club sets available. We currently offer STIX rental sets that include everything you need for a successful round of golf. To reserve a rental set for your tee time, please call the Golf Shop at 619.442.9891.

Clubhouse and Restaurant

After your round of golf, we invite you to stay and enjoy our clubhouse, which offers a relaxing atmosphere and daily food and drink specials. Our restaurant is the perfect place to unwind and socialize with friends and family.

Men's Club

The Cottonwood Men's Club is an organization that is dedicated to promoting the game of golf and building camaraderie among its members. The club meets on Tuesday and Thursday mornings and welcomes players of all skill levels. Membership is not required, and handicaps of all levels are welcome. Women's Club

The Cottonwood Ladies Golf Club is a social and golf organization that is open to women of all skill levels. The club meets on Tuesday mornings and offers discounted green fees, as well as a variety of golf events and tournaments. Membership is not required, and handicaps of all levels are welcome. Seniors and Retired Golfers

The Hill Group is an organization that meets at Cottonwood Golf Club on Tuesday and Thursday mornings and is open to seniors and retired golfers.
