Welcome to Norair Engineering Corp., a General and Mechanical Contractor specializing in pump stations, treatment plants, municipal and federal infrastructure, and process facilities. Our company has a rich history dating back to 1935, when Henry Norair founded the business in Washington, DC. Initially, we focused on central heating and air conditioning projects, but over the years, we expanded to include buildings, treatment plants, and subway stations. Some of our notable projects include the Pentagon Metro Station and the Goddard Power Plant.
Today, we continue to offer a wide range of services, including the installation of process piping, plumbing, and HVAC systems. Our expertise also extends to the renovation and repair of existing owner-occupied and operating plants and buildings. Additionally, we provide services for unique and specialized infrastructure projects that may not fall into traditionally defined categories.
At Norair Engineering, we pride ourselves on delivering quality projects in a timely fashion. Our staff of construction professionals has successfully completed various projects such as water and wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, power plants, boiler plants, chilled water plants, chemical plants, office fit-outs, and mechanical renovations to apartments, fuel facilities, and steam plants. Our commitment to excellence is reflected in our extensive resume of work in the water and wastewater construction field.
We have had the privilege of working with several notable clients including the Alexandria Sanitation Authority, Arlington County Department of Public Works, Army Corps of Engineers, Baltimore City, and the D.C. Water and Sewer Authority, among others. Our areas of expertise include water and wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, and other infrastructure projects.
