At Summerland Beach Rides, we offer scenic beach and trail rides that cater to riders of all ages over 7 years old, from beginners to advanced. Our beach rides feature stunning views of the Pacific Ocean, where you may have the chance to see dolphins and whales as you ride along the shore, listening to the sound of the crashing waves beneath you. The Coastal Bluffs trail ride offers breathtaking views of the coastline and lemon groves in the hills, with the opportunity to see butterflies and hawks throughout the ride. Both the beach and trail rides are suitable for riders ages 7 and up, while children under 7 can enjoy our Kids Encounter.

Kids Encounters and Events

In addition to our beach and trail rides, we offer several experiences for children, including the Kids Encounter, Mini Horse Experience, and Kids Summer Horse Adventure Camp. Our Kids Encounter is an exciting activity for children of all ages, although we recommend it for children 3 and up. For a truly unique experience, we offer the Mini Horse Encounter, which allows children to interact with and learn about our miniature horses. During the summer, we also host a Kids Summer Horse Adventure Camp, where children can learn about horses and horseback riding in a fun and safe environment.

Summerland Beach Rides is located at Summer Land Farm, a beautiful ranch nestled in the small beach town of Summerland, California. The farm is owned by horse trainer Charlie Picerni, who has over 30 years of experience training riders and horses in hunter jumpers and taking teams to National Competitions. Charlie's love and passion for horses is evident in every guided horseback ride, and he takes great pride in providing a safe and enjoyable experience for riders of all skill levels.
