Boulevard Nurseries

Boulevard Nurseries, a staple of the Aquidneck Island community, first opened its doors in 1910 as a local nursery. Over the years, the nursery has evolved from being a vital piece of the island's landscape to a smaller Garden Center and landscape company. Today, Mike and John Jr., the fourth generation of Kempenaar's, continue the family legacy by operating the nursery. With Mike's 19 years of experience and contagious passion for landscaping and John Jr.'s 17 years of experience and extensive knowledge of the Garden Center, Boulevard Nurseries remains a trusted source for all things gardening and landscaping.

Garden Center

Our Garden Center is both wholesale and retail, providing a wide variety of flowering shade trees and shrubs, as well as large arborvitae for instant privacy. If you're searching for a specific plant that's difficult to find, we offer special ordering services to ensure you get the plants you desire. Additionally, we provide high-quality mulch, screened loam, compost, and crushed stone to cater to all your landscaping needs. Delivery services are available for your convenience.
