Fritch Forest Products

Fritch Mill has been producing top-quality lumber from Douglas Fir, Hemlock, and Western Red Cedar since 1950. Our focus is to manufacture hard-to-find cuttings to meet exacting specifications, including full or standard sawn rough. Our facility is highly efficient yet very flexible, allowing us to provide an extremely broad range of products. We are a long-time member of the Pacific Lumber Inspection Bureau (PLIB) and have two certified graders on staff. Saw-sized cuttings are available, and sizes up to 8 x 16 can be surfaced four sides. Other services include custom sawing (50,000 B/F min), planing, and unit sawing.

Products

Our primary focus is on special orders for posts, beams, and timbers. We offer a variety of products including structural posts/timbers/beams/stringers, dimension pullouts, long dimension up to 24', railroad ties, structural joists and planks, and structural light framing. We also provide industrial dunnage and specialty products, with specified grades and tally of all products in all species.

Services

We offer a range of services including anti-stain treating, container loading, custom cutting, custom planing, paper wrapping, re-sawing, unit sawing, and grading. Our grading services are certified by the PLIB, and we have a capacity to produce 50,000 B/F per day, with an annual production of over 12,000,000 B/F, including over 1,000,000 B/F of FSC-certified Douglas Fir and Hemlock. Custom drying is also available on site, with a capacity of 50,000 B/F. Shipping options include truck, rail, or container.
