Who We Are
CFR Engineering is a small business enterprise located in Germantown, Maryland, established in 2006. We are a federal small, SWaM certified, and Montgomery County local small business offering comprehensive mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection engineering services for projects of varying size and complexity. We specialize in highly complex healthcare, research, and laboratory design.
Our team consists of experienced professionals with exceptionally broad experience in a multitude of engineering disciplines and market sectors. Our team includes 31 engineers on staff, with 15 certified Professional Engineers (PE) registered in multiple states. We also have in-house LEED Accredited Professionals, Building Energy Modeling experts, Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) experts, Certified Lighting Design Specialists (LC), Certified Plumbing Design Specialists (CPD), Certified Healthcare Facility Design Professionals, and Certified Building Commissioning Professionals (BCxP) on staff.
