We are Counseling by Julia Speer, LLC, a business dedicated to providing professional counseling services to individuals, couples, and families. Our mission is to offer a safe and supportive environment where people can navigate through life's challenges and find healing. Our team is led by Julia Speer, an Oregon Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified EMDR Therapist with over 30 years of experience.

Julia holds a Master's degree in Biblical Counseling and Marriage and Family Therapy. She is well-versed in various therapeutic approaches, including Christian-based therapy, EMDR, and trauma work. Her extensive education and training enable her to tailor her services to meet the unique needs of each client.

Our services include individual, marital, and relationship counseling, as well as EMDR for adults. We also offer Christian-based therapy for those who wish to integrate their faith into their therapy. Additionally, we provide EMDR consultation for therapists seeking certification.

At Counseling by Julia Speer, LLC, we understand that every individual's journey is unique. That's why we strive to create a personalized experience for each client. Our goal is to empower individuals to find more fulfillment in their relationships, overcome struggles with moods and behaviors, and gain freedom from past traumas.

Services and Payment

We offer various services including individual, marital, and relationship counseling, as well as EMDR for adults. Our standard fee for a counseling session is $135, which is typically covered by most health insurance companies. We also have a limited number of sliding scale fee slots available for those without health insurance or in financial need.

We are currently in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS) and Pacific Source. If you are insured by these companies, your payment will be your standard co-pay for an office visit. For those with other insurance providers, we recommend verifying your coverage before beginning treatment.

Our office is located at 2110 Deerhill Lane, West Linn, OR. From the 205 freeway, exit onto 10th street and proceed north to Salamo drive. Continue up the hill for approximately 1 mile, then turn right onto Parker Road. Take the next left onto Deerhill Lane, and park at the far right of the driveway.
