Founded in Decatur, Alabama, in 1968 by Harlen and Hazel Tanksley, Tanksley Machine & Tool, Inc. was incorporated in 1976 with five employees. The company then occupied a 6,000-square-foot facility and specialized in tooling repair and machine fabrication for local industries. Since the beginning, our dedication to our customers has led us to experience tremendous growth with a reputation for excellence that defines who we are today. We constantly leverage new techniques and adopt new technologies to meet the ever-changing needs of our customers.
