Unsatisfactory Experience with Distinctive Properties
Poor Service from Real Estate Agent
Some customers have had a disappointing experience with Distinctive Properties. The first reviewer, LeDeane S., had a problem with an alarm system at a property they purchased in May. They asked their realtor, Amy Butcher, to contact the previous owner to obtain the access code to disarm the alarm. However, Ms. Butcher responded quickly, claiming the previous owner never used the alarm, and refused to provide the previous owner's contact information.
Negative Impact on Neighborhood
Another reviewer, Bill B., had a poor experience with the property management company. He claimed that Distinctive Properties is taking money from the government to manage the property, but they were not doing their job effectively. The property was being used for dumping trash, and squatters had moved in, requiring the police to be called eight times in as many weeks.
