At East Texas Psychological Services, we are dedicated to providing mental health services to the residents of Henderson County and its surrounding areas. Our team of licensed professionals, including Dr. William A. McBride, Dr. Dawn M. Lowe, Dr. Robert C. Nicks, and a host of skilled therapists, are committed to helping individuals navigate their mental health journey.

Our clinic is equipped to handle a wide range of services, from individual, couples, family, and group psychotherapy to ADHD screening, educational testing, and psychological evaluations. We also offer substance abuse counseling, health psychology, pre-employment screening for law enforcement and fire departments, and pre-surgical/treatment psychological evaluations.

We understand that seeking mental health services can be a daunting task, and that's why we're here to provide support and guidance throughout the process. Our staff is friendly, approachable, and dedicated to ensuring that your privacy is protected at all times. We believe in creating a safe and welcoming environment where you can express your feelings without fear of judgment.

Our clinic is open Monday through Friday, with hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and we're closed for lunch from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. We're also closed on Saturdays and Sundays. If you're planning to visit us, you can take Hwy 19 S, turn right on Bryson Ave, and then make an immediate left into our parking lot.

At East Texas Psychological Services, we accept most major insurance policies, including Medicare and Medicaid. Your first visit will last about 60 minutes, and subsequent psychotherapy visits will typically last about 45 minutes each. The frequency of your visits will depend on your specific situation, and you and your therapist will set a schedule and a plan that will work best for your goals.
