Our Firm's History

Our firm's rich history dates back to the early 20th century when Herbert Faulkner, a U.S. Marshal for the Territory of Alaska, founded the firm in Juneau. Faulkner's extensive experience in law enforcement and his connection to the highest echelons of the Alaska legal system made him an ideal figure to establish a law firm. Over the years, Faulkner's partners have included notable figures, such as Norman Banfield, a meteorologist who read law in his spare time and later became a prominent lawyer in his own right.
