The Brickyard Cages is one of San Diego's premier baseball and softball batting cage and training facilities for players of all ages and abilities. Our state-of-the-art indoor training facility is centrally located in San Diego, just minutes away from Interstate 8 and Interstate 5. Our mission is to bring a better batting cage and baseball instruction facility to the local community.
Facility and Services
Our facility features six batting cage tunnels, with ball speeds that can be adjusted individually for your requirements. Each of our cages has an L-screen and hitting Tee, which can be used by a coach for live pitching or soft toss. Our cages are designed for quality hitting practice at a reasonable rate, making it accessible for players of all levels.
The Brickyard Cages is not a "Boomers" or "Stadium" batting cage facility and does not have automatic ball return and collection. Instead, we provide a high-quality baseball atmosphere and customers pick-up the balls in the cage after usage.
Instructors and Lessons
Our staff is mainly comprised of experienced players and instructors that offer individual and group lessons and clinics year-round. Our lessons are available for members only, and an annual membership is good for the whole family, giving you discounts on cage time, camps, and birthdays for the whole year. Each private lesson is 30 minutes with one of our professional instructors, and cancellations must be made 24 hours in advance.
Summer Camps
Our summer camps are available for players of all ages and abilities, with five full days of instruction and gameplay. Camps run from June through August and are designed to improve players' skills and knowledge of the game.
Brickyard Membership
Our annual team member fee is $89 and includes a new BYC T-Shirt. Members can bat for half price on weekdays before 4 pm, and two or more tunnels must be prepaid. Members also receive discounts on cage time, camps, and birthdays for the whole year.
Cage Rates
Our cage rates are designed for fun at all ages! Cage time rentals are available in 20, 30, 45, or 60-minute increments, with discounts available for members. Our pitching machine speeds range from 38mph to 85mph, with slow and fast pitch options available in Cage 2.
Brickyard Birthdays
Our new Birthday Room Jungle Disco is the perfect place to celebrate your child's birthday. Packages include two tunnels for two hours, plus the Birthday Room, and start at $300 for members.
