Frank Emmet Real Estate, Inc. was founded in 1971 by Francis X. Emmet, Jr., and is the successor to Hohenstein Brothers and Donahue, Inc., a Washington, DC firm established in 1923. Since our incorporation, we have focused our efforts on real estate management, with a sales division that handles investment properties similar to those we manage. Our corporate office is located in Silver Spring, MD, and our management portfolio includes properties owned by various entities, such as the Government of the District of Columbia, banks, trusts, savings and loan institutions, partnerships, corporations, and individuals. We currently manage over 300 addresses totaling around 2000 units, with properties ranging from single-family homes to multi-family, storefront commercial, and condominium associations.

Staff

Our team consists of experienced and dedicated professionals who are committed to providing exceptional service to our clients. Our corporate office staff includes Duane Emmet, the CEO and President, who is a Principal Broker and has extensive experience in the real estate industry. Lisa Baruffi, our Controller, has been with the company for over 25 years and brings her expertise in financial management and reporting to the table. Athena Samuel is our Operations/Human Resources Manager and oversees the day-to-day operations of the company, while also managing our human resources department. Our Lease Administration Team is responsible for managing lease agreements and ensuring that our properties are in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

Our property management staff includes Keith Hurst, a Senior Property Manager with over 15 years of experience in the industry. Denise Rojas is also a Property Manager with several years of experience in managing a variety of properties.
